What a facilitating family does

This is not a staff job. It is a family who joins the cohort, lives it like everyone else, and holds the rhythm of the month from inside it. Two families do it together, so nobody carries it alone.

Suzanne and Andrea did this at Casa Sumapaz in July 2026. It was the first Cohli cohort held by someone other than us, and it worked. That month is the reason we now run this as a role rather than an experiment.

• Open the month. The welcome circle, the introductions, the first shared meal.
• Hold the weekly rhythm. Parent circles, the Sunday model, the shared sheet where every cost is visible.
• Notice friction early and bring people back together, before week one becomes week four.
• Be the person families go to when a direct conversation feels hard.
• Talk to us weekly by video, and tell us honestly what is happening on the ground.

You are not the childcare, and you are not the host. Lorena and Mateo hold the learning, Clara and Sebastian hold the house, and you hold the people.
