Cohli is a global community of nomadic families co-creating intentional coliving and learning experiences around the world. In summer 2026, we're bringing a cohort of up to 10 families to Aterra - an ecological retreat in the Alentejo coastal forest of Southern Portugal. It's a living project of yurts, tipis, cabins, a freshwater lake, orchards, and gardens kids can actually pick from.
Our Lead Educator family is confirmed. We're now looking for one more person: an Assistant Educator to co-hold the learning space for the ~15 children travelling with us.
You hold the learning space for our kids across 4 weeks - a mixed-age group (2-12), multilingual, curious, and used to travelling. You're not running a school. You're holding a living, place-based, project-led learning environment that fits the rhythm of a coliving cohort.
"You're not delivering a curriculum. You're holding a question - what does it look like for these specific kids, in this specific place, to learn together for four weeks?"
What you need to know about the experience.
Two roles hold one program. The Lead seat is filled for July 2026. The Assistant seat is open, and it matters just as much.
The Lead designs and holds the learning program: the weekly themes, the project arcs, the way morning circle actually lands. For July 2026 this seat is held by our confirmed lead educator family.
You support the Lead across the day and take primary presence with the youngest group (2-5). You run free-play and nature windows, hold rest time, co-run outings, and help keep the daily rhythm calm when the group gets wide.
A great fit for educators earlier in their career, people trained in early years, or experienced educators who want a supporting role during a season that matters to them. You'll learn a lot alongside a strong Lead.
Your own accommodation, meals, and weekly stipend are fully covered - that's your compensation for the role. If your partner and/or kids come with you, they participate in the cohort like any other family, at regular cohort rates with a 10-20% educator-family discount on their portion, calibrated to each cohort's economics.
The discount is a gesture of thanks, not a second income stream - your role is already well-compensated on its own.
Less a checklist of certifications, more a portrait of the person we believe will flourish in the role.
You've led mixed-age groups before. You've worked with kids who don't look or sound the same. You know what it takes to hold a morning circle that isn't just tokenistic.
You don't need worksheets to teach. Gardens, kitchens, a walk to the lake, a conversation with a local - you can turn any of those into real learning.
You hold groups with warmth. You can say no without damage. You know that limits are a form of love when they're consistent.
You've worked with nomadic or worldschooling families, or you're genuinely curious about them. Our kids have lived more places by age 7 than most adults.
English is the working language of the cohort. Spanish, Portuguese, or French are a serious bonus - we expect an international family mix.
The maturity to name what's hard and ask for help early. We operate as a small team. Nobody holds anything alone.
Private accommodation at Aterra (yurt, tipi, cabin, or bell tent depending on availability) plus all meals, fully covered for the 4 weeks.
A weekly stipend, paid in EUR. Discussed individually - Lead and Assistant rates differ, and we adjust for whether you bring family.
Our six-capability framework (Inner Foundations, Nature Intelligence, Creativity, Inquiry, Global Citizenship, Practical Life) - a spine, not a script.

You'll be working. The days are full, the kids are full of energy, and the unexpected is daily. You'll be tired. And it'll be worth it.
No curriculum mandates, no standardised tests. You bring the structure, but the place is the syllabus - that's both the freedom and the responsibility.
You'll live alongside the families. That's beautiful and sometimes complicated. Clear boundaries and honest communication matter a lot here.
Cohli is young. The model improves cohort by cohort. We deeply value educators who help us make it better - your feedback shapes what we become.

Cohli es una comunidad global de familias nómadas que co-crea experiencias de coliving y aprendizaje intencional alrededor del mundo. En el verano del 2026 llevaremos una cohorte de hasta 10 familias a Aterra - un refugio ecológico en el bosque costero del Alentejo, en el sur de Portugal. Un proyecto vivo de yurtas, tipis, cabañas, un lago de agua dulce, huertas y jardines donde los niños pueden recolectar de verdad.
Nuestra familia de Educador/a Líder ya está confirmada. Ahora buscamos a una persona más: un/a Educador/a Asistente para co-sostener el espacio de aprendizaje con los ~15 niños/as que viajan con nosotros.
Sostienes el espacio de aprendizaje de nuestros niños/as durante 4 semanas - un grupo de edades mixtas (2-12), multilingüe, curioso y acostumbrado a viajar. No es una escuela. Es un entorno vivo, ligado al lugar, basado en proyectos, que acompaña el ritmo de una cohorte de coliving.
"No estás entregando un currículo. Estás sosteniendo una pregunta - ¿cómo se vería que estos niños/as en particular, en este lugar en particular, aprendieran juntos durante cuatro semanas?"
Lo que necesitas saber sobre la experiencia.
Dos roles sostienen un mismo programa. El rol de Líder ya está cubierto para julio 2026. El rol de Asistente está abierto, e importa igual.
El/la Líder diseña y sostiene el programa de aprendizaje: los temas semanales, los arcos de proyecto, la manera en que el círculo de la mañana realmente aterriza. Para julio 2026 este rol ya está cubierto por nuestra familia educadora confirmada.
Apoyas al/la Líder a lo largo del día y tomas presencia principal con el grupo más pequeño (2-5). Sostienes momentos de juego libre y de naturaleza, acompañas los descansos, co-lideras salidas, y ayudas a mantener el ritmo diario sereno cuando el grupo se abre.
Ideal para educadores/as en una etapa más temprana de su carrera, personas con formación en primera infancia, o educadores con experiencia que quieren un rol de apoyo durante una temporada que les importa. Aprenderás mucho junto a un/a Líder fuerte.
Tu propio alojamiento, comidas y estipendio semanal están completamente cubiertos - esa es tu compensación por el rol. Si tu pareja y/o hijos/as vienen contigo, participan en la cohorte como cualquier otra familia, a las tarifas regulares con un descuento del 10-20% para familia educadora sobre su parte, calibrado según la economía de cada cohorte.
El descuento es un gesto de agradecimiento, no una segunda fuente de ingresos - tu rol ya está bien compensado por sí solo.
Menos una lista de certificaciones, más un retrato de la persona que creemos que florecerá en este rol.
Has liderado grupos de edades mixtas. Has trabajado con niños/as que no se parecen ni suenan igual. Sabes qué hace falta para sostener un círculo de la mañana que no sea puro trámite.
No necesitas fichas para enseñar. Una huerta, una cocina, una caminata al lago, una conversación con alguien del pueblo - puedes convertir cualquiera de esas cosas en aprendizaje real.
Sostienes grupos con calidez. Sabes decir que no sin hacer daño. Entiendes que los límites, cuando son consistentes, son una forma de cuidado.
Has trabajado con familias nómadas o worldschoolers, o tienes una curiosidad genuina por ellas. Nuestros niños/as han vivido en más lugares a los 7 años que la mayoría de adultos.
El inglés es el idioma de trabajo de la cohorte. Español, portugués o francés son un plus importante - esperamos una mezcla internacional.
La madurez para nombrar lo que cuesta y pedir ayuda temprano. Operamos como un equipo pequeño. Nadie sostiene nada solo/a.
Alojamiento privado en Aterra (yurta, tipi, cabaña o carpa bell según disponibilidad) y todas las comidas, completamente cubiertas durante las 4 semanas.

Sin currículo obligado, sin pruebas estandarizadas. Tú traes la estructura, pero el lugar es el programa - esa es la libertad y la responsabilidad.
Vivirás junto a las familias. Eso es hermoso y a veces complicado. Los límites claros y la comunicación honesta importan mucho aquí.
Cohli es joven. El modelo mejora cohorte a cohorte. Valoramos profundamente a los educadores que nos ayudan a mejorarlo - tu feedback moldea lo que llegamos a ser.
